A boat that floats!

The Giraffes reading group read a story this week called 'Make a boat that floats' and then we got to make one, it was so much fun!

We worked with one of our teacher aides to make them after we read her the story.

We made sure we had all the equipment and then we made them. After we did that we filled some containers with water and went outside to test them.

Blow really hard to make your boat move!

  1. Making boats is lots of fun- you can even do it in the bath- try one made out of paper!- they will float for a while- or one made out of cut up egg cartons and put in a sail with a toothpick- heaps of fun.
