A boat that floats!

The Giraffes reading group read a story this week called 'Make a boat that floats' and then we got to make one, it was so much fun!

We worked with one of our teacher aides to make them after we read her the story.

We made sure we had all the equipment and then we made them. After we did that we filled some containers with water and went outside to test them.

Blow really hard to make your boat move!

Fruit Kebabs

Last term we made delicious fruit kebabs for our writing experience, they were really yummy!

We had to write a recount about how we made them and what we put on them. Below are some of our recounts.

The Delicious Fruit Kebabs

On Monday Room 14 and Room 15 made fruit kebabs at school.
First we had to wash our hands.
Next we sat on the mat and we had to listen to the teacher.
After that we went to the blue table we listened to the teacher.
Then we made 4 kebabs. I put marshmellows and apples.
Last we got to eat 2.
My favourite part was putting the marshmellows on because they were squishy.
